Terms & Conditions
Effective January 1, 2026
By accessing brainyscout.com or enrolling in any Brainy Scout program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Our Services
Brainy Scout provides career coaching programs, resume and LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, job search training, and AI-powered career tools — primarily for internationally trained professionals seeking employment in Canada, the USA, Australia, and India.
Enrollment & Payment
- All prices are clearly stated at enrollment. No hidden fees.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe (international) or Razorpay (India). Brainy Scout does not store your card details.
- Installment plans require completion of all scheduled payments regardless of participation level.
- Failed payments will receive a 5-business-day grace period before access is paused.
User Conduct
You agree to use our platform responsibly. The following are not permitted: sharing abusive or unlawful content, redistributing our course materials, sharing login access with others, or disrupting group coaching sessions. Violations may result in immediate suspension without refund.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Brainy Scout platform — including course videos, coaching frameworks, resume templates, worksheets, and blog content — is the exclusive intellectual property of Brainy Scout Pvt. Ltd. Upon enrollment, you receive a limited personal licence to use these materials for your own career development only. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute them in any form.
Confidentiality
Any personal or professional information you share during coaching — including career history, salary details, and personal circumstances — is kept strictly confidential. We will not share this with third parties for commercial purposes. In return, we ask you to keep session content and coaching frameworks private and not distribute them to others.
Results Disclaimer
Career outcomes depend on individual effort, market conditions, and factors outside our control. Results shared on our website reflect past client experiences and are not guaranteed for every student.
To the extent permitted by law, Brainy Scout's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of our platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Enrolled students will be notified of significant changes by email.
Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We serve clients across India, Canada, the USA, and Australia and comply with applicable privacy laws including India's IT Act, Canada's PIPEDA, and GDPR principles.
What We Collect
Information you provide: Full name, email address, phone number, country of residence, resume, LinkedIn profile, and work experience — shared voluntarily for coaching purposes.
Payment information: Billing name and address only. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe or Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.
Automatically collected: Pages visited, time on site, IP address, browser type, and cookie data — used to improve your experience and understand how our platform is used.
How We Use Your Data
- To process your enrollment and deliver program content
- To personalise your coaching based on your resume and career goals
- To send session reminders, program updates, and support communications
- To send career tips and promotional content — only where you have opted in (unsubscribe anytime)
- To process payments and manage billing
- To improve our platform through analytics
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
Third-Party Sharing
We share data only with trusted service providers required to deliver our services: Stripe and Razorpay (payment processing), email service providers (communications), Google Analytics (anonymised usage data), and Calendly (session scheduling). All providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely.
Payment Data Security
Brainy Scout does not store your credit or debit card details. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (Stripe and Razorpay).
Cookies
We use essential cookies (to keep you logged in and maintain sessions), analytics cookies (to understand site usage), and marketing cookies (to measure campaign effectiveness). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your Rights
Depending on your country, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to opt out of marketing communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@brainyscout.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention & Security
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal obligations. Upon account closure or deletion request, your data is removed within 30 days (except where legally required to retain, e.g. financial records). We use HTTPS, access controls, and encrypted storage to protect your data.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

We stand behind our programs and want every student to feel confident enrolling. Here's exactly how cancellations and refunds work — no fine print, no surprises.

Live & Group Programs — 3-Day Guarantee
If you're not satisfied within the first 3 days of your program start date, we'll refund you in full — no hassle.
To request a refund, email contact@brainyscout.com with your full name, enrollment date, and reason for the request. Requests made after 3 days of the program start date will not be accepted.
Self-Paced Courses
Because course content is made available immediately upon enrollment, refunds are not available once you have accessed the materials. We encourage you to review the curriculum carefully or book a free clarity call before purchasing.
1-on-1 Coaching Sessions
- Cancellations more than 48 hours before the session: full refund or reschedule at no charge.
- Cancellations within 48 hours: session credit valid for 60 days — no cash refund.
- No-shows: session is forfeited with no refund or credit.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Self-paced courses once accessed
- Digital downloads once downloaded
- Live program requests made after the 3-day window
- No-show sessions
- Remaining installments on a payment plan
- Cases where materials have been shared or distributed to third parties
Rescheduling
You may reschedule to a future cohort date at no charge with at least 3 business days' notice. Send requests to contact@brainyscout.com. In rare cases where Brainy Scout needs to reschedule, you will be notified promptly and no financial penalty applies.
How to Request a Refund
Email contact@brainyscout.com with your full name, registered email, program name, enrollment date, and reason for request. We acknowledge all requests within 2 business days and resolve within 7 business days.
Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 30 days of approval and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days after processing, depending on your bank. Refunds are returned to the original payment method — via Razorpay for Indian payments, via Stripe for international payments.
